One day more.....

Not even one day more. More like 12 hours!!!! It's 8:03pm. At 8:15 am, I'll be flying out of Orlando to Detroit. From Detroit, I'll hop on a plane for 13 hours, making my way towards Beijing. I'll arrive at 2:15pm, which is 2:15am EST. I have about a 4 hour layover, which is good because I hope (fingers crossed) that I can do customs in Beijing. At 7, I'll take my first Chinese airline to Hangzhou. I get in at 9pm.

I've had butterflies in my stomach since around 2pm. I'm excited yet nervous. I think I'm mostly nervous about getting into Hangzhou. The Head of School or Lower School Principal is supposed to pick me up, but I'm soo nervous someone is not going to be there. It's crazy because I KNOW someone will be there, but my mind can't help up ponder over the chances. What would I do? My phone is not longer active so I can't call anyone, plus the school is closed. Who would I call? I don't have anyone's numbers. I guess I could go to my apt, but then how would I get in? AHHHH!!! Stress. It's going to be fine.

I talked with Dad, Nean, and L. They all are excited for me. I'm getting lots of texts from people wishing me well. I am excited, but scared also. It's jumping back and forth. I know this is normal. I'm making a HUGE move and uprooting everything I know. I have a right to be scared.

G is coming over tonight for a last hoorah. Gonna miss her to pieces. All my girls. Thanks goodness for Skype, FaceTime, iMessage, and Facebook. Those are going to be my lifelines home. I also got Air Mail stationary. I remember, before Sachi, our Japanese exchange student came, she'd write us letters. They were in the cutest red and blue envelopes that said Air Mail on them. I always knew them were from her. When I send them, my friends will know they are from me.

It might take a while for my next post. I'm not sure when I'll have internet.  I may also need a VPN to access this site as well, but I'll be back as soon as I can. Next post is from Hangzhou, China!!!
